This type of slip mainly consists of air control joint, cylinder, slip seat, slip tooth plate, guide rod, support plate, mud scraper, mud scraper tray, connecting rod, etc. Among them, the slip tooth plate is the most critical part, which directly affects the clamping state of the slip pressure plate and the drill pipe, as well as the degree of damage to the drill pipe. The structural parameters of the slip tooth plate have a significant impact on the working life of the tooth plate itself. The degree of damage to the drill pipe varies for different structural parameters of the tooth plate, and its own life also varies greatly.

So, how do you maintain and maintain the slip die on a daily basis?

1. After each use, the corrosive mud adhering to the pneumatic slip must be washed clean with clean water. Add engine oil to the guide rod and piston rod, and apply lubricating grease (or thread oil) to the contact surface of the slip body.

2. Before pulling out the quick connector, it must be washed clean. After pulling out the quick connector, clean plastic bags or plastic plugs should be used to secure the connector to prevent mud, dust, and other dirt from entering the connector and gas pipeline.

3. Regularly inspect the * * ring and replace it in a timely manner when it has worn out by more than 3mm.

4. Regularly inspect the pipe column slip teeth and replace them in a timely manner if they are severely worn.

5. When relocating, after inserting the slip pin to close the two slips, the support plate must be tightly attached to the upper plane of the slip seat and tied together with iron wire to prevent falling on the upper and lower drill floors.
